I typed the room code and nothing happens

Codes are six characters, letters and digits (there is no 0, O or I). Ask the host to read it again. A room only accepts new players before the host clicks Start Picking; once picking or the game has started, you cannot join it. Ask the host to open a new room.

The game says "Waiting for host…" or sent me back to the menu

In multiplayer the host's computer runs the simulation and sends everyone the state every second. If the host minimizes the tab the game keeps running in the background; if the host closes it or loses connection, the room closes and everyone is returned to the menu. "Waiting for host…" means no update has arrived for ten seconds. If it does not clear, the host has probably lost connection.

My turn to pick a star ran out

Each player has 15 seconds to confirm a starting star. If the clock runs out, a free star is picked for you at random and locked in. You can still change your pick while the host is waiting to launch.

No sound

Browsers block audio until you click the page once. Open Settings: music, sound effects and UI each have their own volume, and the Sound button in the bottom bar mutes everything. Skip Track changes the music.

Where are my saved games?

Saves and campaign progress are stored in your browser on the device you played on (or in the Windows app on that PC). They do not sync between devices, and clearing your browser's site data erases them. Skirmish games have five manual save slots plus an autosave every 30 turns; campaign progress is saved at the end of each mission.

The map is slow or stutters

Open Settings and set Graphics Quality to Low. It turns off the HUD blur and reduces particle effects; the game also switches to Low on its own if frames stay slow for a while. Chrome and Edge perform best; Firefox and Safari work but are slower on big maps.

LAN play with the Windows app

The Windows app runs its own game server. When you open Multiplayer and host, the lobby shows a network address such as http://192.168.1.20:52847. Friends on the same Wi-Fi or network open that address in any browser and join with your code. Their traffic stays on your network. If they cannot connect, check that Windows Firewall allows the app on private networks.

The Windows app will not update or will not start

Updates download in the background and apply when you quit; the title screen shows a banner when one is ready. If an update fails, download the current installer from the download page and run it over the existing install. On first run Windows SmartScreen may warn that the publisher is unknown: choose More info, then Run anyway. The app is not yet code-signed.

Report a bug

Press Ctrl+B in the game, or click Report a bug in the bottom-right corner. Describe what happened and what you expected, then send. A screenshot, the current game state and your recent actions are attached automatically, so you do not need to describe the map. Reports go straight to the developer.
