Privacy Policy

Nova's Dominion is made and published by Beckham Enterprises LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you play, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: there are no accounts, we collect the minimum needed to run multiplayer games and fix bugs, and we do not sell data.
What we collect
Playing in the browser. Your saved games, campaign progress and settings are stored in your own browser (local storage) and never leave your device unless you send a bug report. Nothing about single-player play is sent to us.
Multiplayer. When you host or join a room, the display name you type, your room code and your moves pass through our server so other players can see them. A room holds this for the length of the game and is discarded when the last player leaves. Other players see your display name and your moves, never anything else.
Bug reports. If you press Ctrl+B and send a report, we receive what you wrote plus a screenshot of the game view, the game state (turn, mission, your recent actions), your browser or app version, and your IP address. Reports are read by us to fix the game and deleted when no longer needed.
The Windows app. On launch it checks a file on our servers to see whether a newer version exists, which shows us a standard web request (IP address, app version). It hosts LAN games on your network; those games never pass through our servers.
Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and to keep the service running; aggregate, cookie-free page analytics. No advertising trackers.
Why we use it
- To run multiplayer games between you and other players.
- To find and fix bugs you report.
- To keep the service secure and understand, in aggregate, how the game is played.
- To meet legal obligations.
Who else sees it
Only the services that help us run the game: Cloudflare (hosting, multiplayer rooms, bug-report storage, analytics). We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Multiplayer rooms are discarded when they empty. Bug reports are kept until the issue is fixed and then deleted, normally within 90 days. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
Your choices and rights
- Play single-player and nothing is sent to us at all. Clear your browser's site data to erase saved games and progress on that device.
- Use any display name you like in multiplayer; it does not need to be your real name.
- Email us to ask what we hold about you (for example a bug report you sent) or to have it deleted.
- If you are in the EU/UK, California or another place with privacy rights, you have the rights those laws give you (access, correction, deletion, objection, portability) and we honor them on request.
Children
Nova's Dominion is intended for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13; if you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies
The website and game set no tracking cookies. The game uses your browser's local storage for saved games and settings only.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note the new date here. We expect to update it when accounts, purchases or store editions are introduced.
